Great location, very historical with legends of gold represented here. The meals ate great plus have a division if you are with children or not to not upset the atmosphere. Valet parking available.
Beautiful landscaping. Lots of trees that offered shade on a nice sunny but breezy day. The Charles Schwab Challenge is always a great time.
Visited for a wedding reception. Service, food and atmosphere were on point. The place is beautiful. The food was delicious. I wish I had the opportunity to wander the entire facility but thoroughly enjoyed the parts I did see.
Beautiful place. So much fun for the family. Will be back.
What a classy place …. Excellent facilities and the service personally are outstanding… have attended company Christmas parties and retirement gatherings there and you are never disappointed with the food or service
I was lucky enough to play this course and I’ve got to say, it’s much better than many a public course in DFW. I played with a few members who are friends and they noted that the course in their eyes is not in the greatest shape. There are weeds in the rough and around some of the greens. As well as some ball marks on the greens that people don’t bother fixing. That caught me by surprise. But nonetheless the course is laid out beautifully and plays much longer than it looks. Tight through some fairways and small elevated undulating greens makes it a difficult course for an amateur. It was awesome playing this course for the first time as it holds a lot of history and I was lucky enough to hit a long ball in the fairway on 18 and two putt for a par. Walking up to the 18th green alongside the scoreboard made it feels like I was playing alongside some of the greats.
Great time at the Charles Schwab Challenge.
Colonial is a well run, historic club. Highly recommend
Great course. Conditions great. Crowd small. Big names LIV. Would have rated it a 5. Here's the issue. PATROITS Outpost rate it a negative 4. Refused to let me in. Honorable Veteran with veteran card. The staff is too young. Thought my Veteran's ID was from A foreign land. It had The Bald Eagle on it. The young girls 3 in all refused me and a Vietnam Vet entrance. Come on get people that care about Veteran's and not drunk tinnie bombers refusing us Veterans.
This course is simply gorgeous. But beware the 13th hole.......
Lots of trees, friendly people. Great place to watch the pros in May.
Great golf, friendly staff, friendly members. Great event!
